About Master of Computer Science by Coursework (MCSC)

The Master of Computer Science program offers students the opportunity to explore advanced knowledge in computer science.

The Master of Computer Science by Coursework (MCSC) program provides advanced graduate-level education for students who wish to further their computer science education without engaging in research. It allows students to explore computer science topics in greater depth and learn current advanced techniques. This program is well-suited for individuals from the IT industry seeking to upgrade their skills, develop and demonstrate their capabilities for working at a more advanced level, explore specialized interests, and enhance their credentials.

The program requires a minimum of 10 graduate and undergraduate courses, in accordance with the master’s course requirements. Additionally, this degree can include a co-op designation, which is awarded upon the successful completion of two graduate co-op work terms.
