About Bachelor of Science - Forestry

Program Description

A Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BScF) is about trees, plants, water, and wildlife management – the atmosphere, soils, and landscapes. It’s about people’s beliefs and values. It’s about the economy and about spirit. BScF is about managing all these in sustainable ways. It’s about solving complex problems for the benefit of current and future generations.

The BScF program at UNB is one of the oldest in Canada and has been offered for more than 100 years. There is a deep history in producing graduates who are much sought after in the industry, and many have gone on to become leaders in the field. This is the only English Faculty of Forestry in Atlantic Canada.
