About Pre-Engineering - Bachelor of Science - Civil Engineering
This program teaches students to make engineering and design decisions while considering a broad range of factors such as sustainability, aesthetic values, and environmental, economic, legal and technical limitations.
Graduates are trained to be problem solvers who will develop novel solutions to meet the complex challenges of urban development, pollution minimization, and improving an aging transportation network.
All students who are entering into Business, Graphic Design, Engineering, and Journalism are required to begin their studies at the University of Nevada, Reno as a pre-major. Updates and progression to the upper level division and major declaration will happen during program study.
