The Master’s in Energy Engineering will provide students with the skills, hands-on experience and professional connections to lead sustainable energy initiatives.
Nuclear Engineering Option: As the only public institution in New England with a nuclear reactor on campus, UMass Lowell offers an affordable pathway to gain experience and expertise in power plant safety, radiation shielding and protection, advanced radiation detectors, nuclear nonproliferation, nuclear safeguards and modeling and simulation of the nuclear fuel cycle. This option is offered through the Chemical Engineering Department.
