About Bachelor of Business Administration - Second Degree - Computer Science (Optional Co-op)
For those who already have an undergraduate degree, the Dhillon School of Business can help students earn a second degree to broaden their knowledge or change their career direction.
This is an individualized program of 15 to 25 courses. Full-time student can complete the program in 1.5 - 2.5 years, and they may be able to accelerate their program by attending summer sessions. Students have up to 10 years to complete the degree.
Computer science is a science that has revolutionized the world and advances are being made constantly. Computer science spans theory and practice, and requires students to think and problem solve in abstract and concrete terms. In short, getting computers to do what the operator wants them to do requires intensive hands-on experience.
Computer science students will get a broad technical knowledge that will allow them to tackle difficult problems using a variety of hardware, software and programming languages, as well as learn to communicate their expertise to others. Among the areas of study are programming, digital systems, database management systems, data structures and computer architecture.
