Bachelor of Law (Honours) - Law and Politics

Kent Law School brings the study of law to life and prepares students for a successful career in law. This LLB in Law and Politics develops critical and analytical skills, enables to think about the role of law in society, and provides hands-on experience through opportunities to work on real cases in Law Clinic. A law degree from Kent prepares students for a career in law and opens doors to many other professions.

Students will gain a solid grounding in politics, both national and international, and are able to choose modules that reflect their interests from the extensive range on offer. The modules reflect current and relevant issues including conflict resolution, federalism, comparative politics, European integration, ethnic conflict, terrorism, the theory of international relations, political theory, and the politics of countries such as China, Japan, Russia and the USA.  

Kent's research-led teaching encourages students to take a critical view of politics and the law, engaging with the latest research undertaken by expert academics. The University's diverse, international community of staff and students provides a dynamic and engaging environment to gain the professional legal skills and political knowledge students need to change the world.
