About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Media
As the role of media expands, the world shrinks. Interconnectedness is more important than ever.
In this BA Media course, students combine digital content production with the study of how media in a variety of industries shape the world – from online content and social media, to movies, television and streaming, plus the world of promotion and advertising, popular music, and the gaming industry. This courses' wide range of modules means students develop many analytical and practical skills. With access to industry-standard resources, students can create media work of their own - including video and moving image productions, podcasts, and promotional and advertising projects. Students also have the option to choose modules outside of their degree to match their interests.
Students are taught by practitioners and researchers who move the field forward through their publications and creative work. Through their active involvement across a range of media, the faculty keep students in touch with a rapidly changing and expanding industry. This course is also available with a year of working or studying abroad. It's also possible to spend a year working in industry in the UK.
