Undergraduate Foundation Programme
The Undergraduate Foundation Programme (UFP) offers successful students a pathway to university. Students typically study 3 to 4 subjects, depending on the chosen pathway or intended progression degree, along with English language. One of the most important requirements for university entry is English language proficiency. In addition to filling any academic gaps, English language skills are critical for success.
The Undergraduate Foundation Programme provides multiple pathways, offering various subject options. Each pathway includes modules designed to prepare students for success in their chosen subject. The pathways available in the UFP include Art and Design, Business, Engineering, Humanities, Life Sciences, and Social Sciences.
Bachelor of Science (Hons) - Biomedical Science
Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to drive innovation that saves lives through the Biomedical Science degree.
They will gain a deep understanding of the human form and function in health and disease through supported, lab-based learning, graduating ready for a variety of careers, including potentially life-saving work at the cutting edge of health research.
The Biomedical Science degree is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science, ensuring that it meets the Health & Care Professional Council standards for Biomedical Scientists. This accreditation marks the first step in their journey to become registered Biomedical Scientists.
