2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Human Science and Humanities - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Education, Human Resource Development and Training

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program. 

The International Foundation Year in Health and Human Sciences will provide you with the skills and tools necessary to succeed in career fields such as sports science, podiatry, physiotherapy, pharmaceutical science. During your time in the Foundation Year, you will study core subjects, as well as optional subjects intentionally designed for your chosen field of study. These subjects will also prepare you for a career in psychology, behavioural sciences, sociology and criminology. All of these skills will be key for future academic success at the University of Huddersfield. 

The effective training and development of people is essential in educational organisations and businesses. This Education, Human Resource Development and Training BA(Hons) course will give you the chance to develop the skills and confidence needed to work within Human Resource departments. You’ll also be ready, following graduation, to potentially pursue other careers focused on training and development.
