Program Description
The Honours B.Sc. program in Environmental Biology combines a broad education in the life sciences with a more specialized understanding of the biological consequences of interactions between humans and the environment. Students will have the opportunity to examine the impacts of climate change and learn about insect diversity, waterborne diseases, and plant pathology. Develop an understanding of the impact of interactions between humans and the environment at the molecular, population and community levels. Initiate solutions for a variety of environmental problems. This major prepares students for post-graduate work in environmental biology and related life sciences and provides a strong foundation for students wishing to pursue careers in teaching, government service or the private sector.
