The University of Guelph Management degree helps to develop the leadership and business education skills students will need to Improve life for future generations.
Students will explore broad management topics such as project management, decision-making, team motivation, negotiation and conflict management, while exploring other business courses. They will gain a strong foundation in business with an emphasis in leadership and management studies, and it’s flexible enough for them to add a minor, certificate and specialized electives.
The course extends beyond the traditional lecture-based format to include community-based group projects, guest lecturers, in-class simulations, case-based and experiential learning to help link academic expertise and theory with industry practice.
The Management co-op provides real-world co-op experience, designed to facilitate the transition of students from academic studies to a professional career improving their job search skills, work performance and networking abilities, and boosting resume experience.
