The Business with Finance, BA Hons degree explores the analytical aspects of business. Focused on teaching students the practical skills and knowledge they need for a business career, this course also covers quantitative analysis and systems, and how the banking sector works.
Course modules cover essential financial knowledge such as developing and managing businesses, sustainability and financial crises, while the opportunity to work with business professionals and/or local communities on live projects provides practical experience.
Greenwich has an experienced team of academics and industry professionals. Trained postgraduate researchers also contribute to seminar teaching with their latest research-led insight. Teaching is informed by research and consultancy work.
Work placements are optional, and students are responsible for arranging their placement with support from the University. Previous students have secured a placement year within the NHS, Butler & Young and Computacenter. In addition to this, learners can also opt for internships that last for a minimum of six weeks. They can gain a Certificate in Professional Practice and valuable employment experience before graduating.
