About Master of Science - Global Environmental Change With Industrial Practice
With a Master of Science in Global Environmental Change, students gain knowledge and skills to address pressing global challenges. The curriculum covers climate change, environmental law, meteorology, and sustainability, showcasing Greenwich's award-winning Natural Resources Institute. Recent interdisciplinary research includes climate adaptation in agriculture and issues of equity and environmental economics. Faculty have contributed to global initiatives, including IPCC assessment reports.
This course prepares graduates for diverse careers in NGOs, civil service, environmental management, forestry, and agriculture. Practical laboratory projects provide industry-relevant skills, while independent research offers insights into MPhil/PhD degrees and academic careers.
The Industrial Placement component supports career development, allowing collaboration with professional advisors, peer mentors, and industry employers through training and networking events, including a one-year internship opportunity.
