Master of Science - Structural Engineering (Placement Year)

This MSc Structural Engineering degree will develop students' engineering expertise in line with the ever-changing demands of the profession.

Students will enhance their knowledge in all the essential areas, from advanced structural analysis to soil-structure engineering, and UEL will ensure students' research skills are sharp enough to give them a competitive edge when they embark on their career. This will be enhanced with an industrial placement which will enhance students' professional skills and improve your employability chances.

This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Institute of Highway Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, and the Permanent Way Institution on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a partial CEng accredited undergraduate first degree.
