Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Product Design Engineering

Join UEL's BEng (Hons) Product Design Engineering programme to start an exciting journey of transformation. On this course, students will learn how to combine design principles, engineering science, and manufacturing expertise, shaping their future as a product design engineer. This comprehensive course will prepare students for the ever-changing demands of product and design engineering and help them build a strong foundation in engineering product design.

Students will receive a comprehensive education in product design engineering. This will include learning about design principles, ergonomics, and manufacturing processes, crucial for a product design engineer. Students will gain a solid understanding of these topics.  They will also have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in practical ways. UEL will teach students how to merge their engineering-reinforced design education with analytical skills and a strong manufacturing base. This will ensure students excel in engineering product design and develop innovative designs as a skilled product design engineer.

Throughout their studies, students will have access to cutting-edge facilities, essential for a product design engineer. These include CAD suites, control and power electronics labs, and a 5-axis robot for experimentation in large-format production. These facilities will help students gain hands-on experience and stay at the forefront of product and design engineering while mastering engineering product design.
