About International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - Media, Film & Television Production (3-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honors ) - Media Studies
This program consists of a pathway program offered by INTO at the University of East Anglia followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of East Anglia. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.
In this degree studnet will work with leading scholars and creative practitioners to explore a global range of media industries and texts. student will master the current debates in the discipline, whilst developing the skills to produce your own media content.
Here, Student will explore histories and theories of media, covering a diverse range of audio-visual, print and digital communications, and examining their social and aesthetic significance. Meanwhile in the creative practice work have the opportunity to gain skills in filmmaking, magazine publishing, radio and podcast production, creating promotional materials and digital media production. Also have the chance to gain real-world experience and build industry contacts with an internship. Past students have undertaken placements at local radio stations, television production companies, and the East Anglian Film Archive.
