Electrical and electronic engineers are crucial in shaping society's future across sectors like transport, power generation, and heating. This course enhances student innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to address major challenges.
In the first year, Student will follow an integrated program to gain knowledge, skills, and industry connections. From the second year, They will specialize in electrical and electronic engineering, honing the theoretical and practical skills. They can also take modules with the Schools of Computing Sciences or Environmental Sciences for an interdisciplinary approach.
From day one, Student will be access industry-standard facilities in Productivity East, including CAD stations, 3D printers, subtractive manufacturing technology, and collaborative robots (cobots). In the electronics lab, They will conduct experiments on electrical machine test rigs and learn to model and analyze engineering systems using industry-standard software. They will benefit from industry connections right from the start. Our annual Select Partnership Scheme attracts prestigious employers each year, leading to internships and graduate job offers.
