Studying literature and history together offers a unique perspective on the world. Student will become a sensitive reader of historical sources, understanding how social, cultural, and political contexts shape writing. They can explore topics from medieval history to contemporary fiction.
The English and history degree will start with foundational courses in both fields. As student advance, They can choose the balance between subjects, taking equal modules or specializing based on their interests. Inspirational lecturers will support the learning.

This 4-year version of the course gives studnet the opportunity to spend the third year of the degree studying with one of UEA's many partner institutions across the globe, which offers teaching in the subject and in English. Destinations range from Japan to Hong Kong, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and Canada and the USA
