Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) - Global Development with Politics with a Year Abroad

This innovative degree program combines the study of politics with interdisciplinary approaches to global development.

Students will study a range of topics including the politics of poverty, inequality, democracy and democratization, the causes and consequences of conflict, relationships between state and society, and the practices of a range of actors including governments, global development agencies, NGOs, and social movements.

In the third year, students will study abroad at one of UEA's many partner Universities across the world, taking courses that complement their studies.   In their dissertation students will study a topic of their own choice in depth, under the supervision of a faculty member.

Students will be taught by academic staff whose research is internationally renowned. UEA is actively involved in research across the globe, working with many national and international development agencies.
