This foundation year course will provide students with the skills to allow them to pursue their ideal career by either progressing onto a professional health course or by completing the four-year degree to hit the ground running in a role within the contemporary Health and Social Care sector.
This Integrated Foundation Year entry route offers an alternative supportive route for students who may not have the required entry qualification for direct entry onto some of level 4 program, or those who may have taken an extended break from education. By successfully completing the first year of this program students may be able to apply to transfer onto one of health professional program.
This course is designed with a range of engaging modules to allow students to develop their professional and personal skills.
The full degree will support students' academic advancement to prepare them for their ideal career within health and social care. Students will enhance their personal skills including communication, team working, self-management, motivation, resilience, self-awareness and confidence.
