Students' foundation year will give them the technical expertise and knowledge to progress to the University of Cumbria's highly respected undergraduate program.
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Illustration program will help students develop strong drawing, composition, and color skills that will underpin their personal visual language, allowing them to develop a unique voice as an artist. Students will gain the experience, confidence, and advanced technical skills they need to succeed. And once they find their voice as an artist, their personality, passion and the quality of the work in their portfolio will get them noticed. Students will receive extensive feedback, support, and advice throughout their studies and have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, as well as the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including ‘live briefs’ to develop and hone their skills.
The program is unique amongst illustration courses in giving students a thorough grounding in graphic design. They will have the necessary skills and experience to stand out from the crowd.
