If applicants are interested in a professional career in psychology, there are specialist routes through the course where they can take relevant elective modules at each level.
As well as allowing people to study a broad range of optional modules at all levels alongside the core areas required for British Psychological Society accreditation, a Psychology degree from Chester will equip them with a broad range of employability skills, including literacy, numeracy, critical appraisal, data handling, communication, and logical problem-solving skills.
The school also offer an optional further year of study abroad that students take between your second and third years of study. As this is an additional year, this means they can use this as an opportunity to pursue areas of study of their choice.
