At the University of Central Oklahoma, our Master of Music in Jazz Studies empowers students to showcase their mastery through a captivating graduate recital, setting the stage for an unparalleled display of their musical skills.
In addition, the music production emphasis pushes boundaries as students craft a complete CD album, immersing themselves in the intricacies of music creation and production.
Our highly specialized curriculum is designed to elevate students to a professional level, offering two dynamic emphases: performance and music production. Students will dive into advanced research, academic writing, pedagogy, arranging and composition, history and music technology. This comprehensive training goes above and beyond what is typically offered at the undergraduate level, ensuring that graduates emerge as well-rounded, versatile professionals.
