Program Description
Civil Engineering Technology graduates at the University of Central Missouri would typically have positions that deal with design or administration of large civil construction projects such as power plants, highways, bridges, airports, waterways, and commercial buildings. For example, as a CET graduate they might be working with an engineer and designing a new football stadium or managing the construction of a new power plant. They would typically work as the liaison between the construction labor or CADD operators and the head engineer on the project. Due to their skills and knowledge they will have the versatility to perform multiple tasks related to design and administration of large commercial or civil projects.
