About Master of Science - Midwifery (Shortened)
The MSc Midwifery short course for Registered Nurses is an intensive programme designed to develop the abilities of students as professional midwives. This course will enable students to gain the skills needed to ensure that women, birthing people and families get to enjoy a positive and healthy pregnancy and birth experience.
This course takes a blended learning approach. Students will spend half their time developing their skills under expert supervision in a clinical setting. The rest of their time will be spent learning the theory in a University environment.
As students progress they'll develop an advanced understanding of the childbirth continuum – from preconception to birth.
