About Admission Preparation Program
Students will prepare themselves for academic success in an American university, with supported transition into their undergraduate degree program. Receive personalized advising, and participate in classes, seminars, and workshops to help them develop academic soft skills like intercultural and socio-emotional awareness and understanding; critical thinking and analysis; time management; and real-world problem solving. Refine key technical academic skills like analytical reading, academic writing, research, presentation, and academic English language to help students succeed in the American college classroom.
Students will Learn:
- Gain an understanding of the American college application process
- How to articulate and demonstrate intercultural and socio-emotional awareness and understanding
- Develop critical academic skills to ensure college course success
- Methods to improve students academic English speaking and writing
