Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Geography (Sandwich Year) (L7F8)

The accredited Geography BA(Hons) program offered by the institution is situated at the intersection of the climate crisis, environmental politics, and transformative social change. It places equal emphasis on human geography and environmental geography.

Students will have the opportunity to delve into various current issues such as climate change adaptation, protesting inequalities, LGBTQ and feminist activism, sustainable societies, global development, and the politics of popular culture.

The BSc program also includes elements of physical geography to provide a solid foundation in the subject, with the flexibility to tailor the course to individual career goals through module selections.

Under the guidance of a team of active researchers, students will enhance their knowledge and skills through field work, with recent trips to locations such as Pembrokeshire and Morocco.

The program offers the option of a placement year and guest lectures from industry professionals to provide insight into the working world. Additionally, students will develop transferable skills in presentation and teamwork, preparing them for their future careers.
