Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Fashion Communication with Business Studies (W213)

The Fashion Communication with Business Studies degree at Brighton provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the global fashion industry. This program offers a strong foundation for careers in fashion photography, styling, publishing, fashion film, forecasting, creative and art direction, picture editing, visual promotion, social media, and multi-platform thinking.

Students are encouraged to think outside the box and push the boundaries of fashion communication. They are urged to approach their work with creativity and experimentation, while also critically analyzing various topics. The fashion program at Brighton is highly regarded internationally, and students collaborate closely with designers from fashion and textiles courses on industry-like projects. Specialization occurs in the second year of study.

Industry professionals serve as mentors, and business studies are integrated into the curriculum to teach students how to develop business plans and think in terms of enterprise and entrepreneurship. An optional placement year allows students to build industry connections and gain valuable work experience, resulting in a strong portfolio upon graduation.
