About Bachelor of Science - Personal and Family Financial Planning

Develop an understanding of finance that goes beyond dollars and cents with a degree that prepares students to guide people through life's most crucial moments. The Bachelor of Science in Personal & Family Financial Planning introduces students to the core elements of financial planning and wealth management. Students enhance their studies with courses in law and ethics, personal and family dynamics, retirement strategies, risk management, federal income taxation and tax codes, professional conduct, fiduciary responsibility, investments and more. The capstone project challenges students to create and present a comprehensive financial plan centered on data provided during the course. The B.S. program also requires an internship, so students gain on-the-job experience they can apply to future clients and employers.
