Bachelor of Arts - Applied Humanities - Public Health Emphasis

Students in the Applied Humanities Bachelor of Arts program with an emphasis in Public Health take a broad-based, interdisciplinary approach to the direct and tangible improvement of public health. Coursework encourages students to develop and collaborate on research-driven projects designed to shift general understanding into specific action for the measurable betterment of society. The program builds skills in writing, critical reading, and creative thinking, as well as enhances empathy and interpersonal and intercultural communication. Students also study the organizational and leadership skills used in the development of outreach and mission plans, project management, and public speaking.
