The MSc in Accounting and Performance Analytics is a full-time conversion programme lasting 12 months, starting from the date of first registration. Students undertake taught modules from September to May, followed by a group-based research project, and conclude with a graduate placement beginning in June.
This MSc is a rigorous postgraduate degree course. The employment record for graduates is outstanding, with many now working in diverse roles such as management consultant, project manager, business analyst, business intelligence analyst, management accountant, and financial accountant.
The programme includes a three-month industrial internship and offers modules in various subjects related to both management accounting and Information Systems (IS).
The IS modules provide students with an understanding of how technology supports the operations and transactions of modern organisations. The management accounting modules offer a comprehensive knowledge of management accounting concepts and techniques, and how they are applied to support managerial decision-making. Additionally, the course provides exemptions from three major accounting bodies: CIMA, ACCA, and CAI.
