Integrated First Year - Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Accounting and Finance

The course starts with first year of the undergraduate degree, but with additional study modules for international students. Students' academic or English level may lead to offering them entry at this level, however they should see this as an additional opportunity to be supported for success. Students will experience the first-year curriculum of a UA92 degree, plus extra academic/English contact hours.

The teaching and learning experience will enable students to fully develop their knowledge and understanding of each module to prepare them for the second year of their degree. All of the standard degree modules will be taught with wider UA92 cohort. On successful completion of Integrated Year One students will seamlessly progress to year two, which is the second year of a bachelor’s degree. There is no need to reapply for year one or for another visa – as long as students meet the required pass mark, they will progress onto the next stage of their studies.

This Accounting and Finance degree course will prepare students for a career in areas such as accountancy, auditing, tax advisory, wealth management, banking, business development and organisational leadership. Students will gain a solid foundation for their chosen career path, with a strong focus on providing practically applicable skills that employers within the industry need and value.
