Students will have the opportunity to study at Canada’s leading university fashion program. The university integrates inclusive, decolonized and sustainable perspectives throughout the curriculum, research, and creative activities as well as industry and community partnerships. Explore this interdisciplinary field with courses from a range of concentrations: Fashion Communication; Fashion Design; Fashion Studies; Design Leadership; Textiles and Material Practices. Students will gain hands-on experience with a 250-hour internship option and workshops integrated into the program. The university has a long tradition of nurturing students to become leading fashion makers, thinkers and doers, and they will be encouraged to hone your creativity through research, theory and practice.
Students graduate from the program with a breadth and depth of knowledge and skills, and they will be prepared for ever-changing and dynamic careers in the fashion industry such as fashion design; art/creative direction; social and environmental advocacy; event management; brand strategy and design; textile and surface design; and photography. They may work as a visual merchandiser, buyer, brand strategist, or art director, or choose to pursue graduate studies.
