The field of psychology encompasses the examination of various aspects, including how individuals perceive, think, and learn about their surroundings, the influence of biological and social factors on behavior, the variations in interests and abilities among individuals, verbal and non-verbal communication, and the changes in mental abilities throughout one's lifespan. Psychology is characterized as an experimental and observational science, utilizing research studies to develop and assess theories.

The psychology courses offered place a significant emphasis on cultivating skills in research methods and statistical analysis, utilizing the R programming language. These skills support the delivery of research-led instruction.
