Master of Arts (Honours) - German and Portuguese (RR25)

The joint honors program offers students the opportunity to study two European languages within their respective cultural contexts. This program has a rich history of cultural achievements, migration, and diaspora, making German and Portuguese the ideal languages to explore various countries and cultures across Europe, South America, and Africa.

Students will engage in intensive language study, including a year abroad, to develop advanced spoken and written skills in both German and Portuguese. Alongside language classes, students will also delve into various aspects of German-language and Lusophone cultures. The curriculum includes courses on literature, cinema, history, politics, and languages, presented in themed and comparative contexts.
