About Bachelor of Laws (Honours) - Law and International Relations (ML1F)
The programs allow students to study law alongside another named academic discipline. Over four years of study they will take a range of courses from both the Law School and the School with which their program is combined.
Studying a joint degree at Edinburgh provides them with wide-ranging academic foundations and a broader qualification to apply for postgraduate study or employment.
International Relations examines the driving forces behind international cooperation and conflict and explores security and prosperity in the international system.
The joint Bachelor of Laws in Law and International Relations aims to promote advanced knowledge and understanding of the theory, concepts and rules of law. Students will also gain a broad understanding of the origins and evolution of the state system and the changing nature of state power.
