About Bachelor of Laws (Honours) - Law and Accountancy (MN14)
The programs allow students to study law alongside another named academic discipline. Over four years of study they will take a range of courses from both the Law School and the School with which their program is combined.
Studying a joint degree at Edinburgh provides them with wide-ranging academic foundations and a broader qualification to apply for postgraduate study or employment.
The joint Bachelor of Laws in Law and Accountancy aims to promote advanced knowledge and understanding of the theory, concepts and rules of law.
Accountancy is one of the fastest-growing areas of business activity. Students will examine the basic principles, underlying concepts of Accountancy. They will also study the ways in which accounting statements and financial information can be used to improve the quality of decision making. They will learn how accounting relates to the broader context of the strategic and operational aspects of business.
