As a Biology major at St. Scholastica, students will explore the vast areas of biology, including genetics, ecology, human biology and evolution. Students will learn how cells, molecules and biochemistry work together in all living things and gain a new appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the natural world.
In this program, learning goes beyond the classroom. Students will do research in the classroom and take part in activities in the community. These experiences are built into their journey, allowing students to apply what they are learning in meaningful, hands-on ways.
As a program graduate, students will be well-prepared for a variety of career paths. Whether they choose to continue their education or start working in the diverse field of biological sciences, students will have a strong foundation to build upon.
