Students explore key functions of HRM, from leadership and mentoring, and business psychology, to business ethics and corporate social responsibility. They gain knowledge and insight into the workings of an HRM department, exploring areas such as recruitment, payroll, employment policies, and benefits, in order to succeed in any modern business.
Organizations are only as good as the people who work within them – a successful HRM practitioner maximizes employee performance, helping business to gain a competitive edge. Whether students want to work with international companies, start-ups or not-for-profit organizations, this course gives students the skills and expertise to accelerate their career in HRM and the wider field of business. An optional work placement year is included, at no extra cost.
