The Certificate IV in Residential Drafting teaches students practical skills for working effectively in a building design environment.
In this exciting course, students grow their confidence using popular building design technologies with help from TAFE NSW’s highly experienced teaching staff. This includes using computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce drawings and compliant documentation, using building information modelling (BIM) capable software, and creating digital 3-D models of building designs.
The Diploma of Building Design is designed for professionals who want to work as an architectural draftsperson or building designer. Developed in close consultation with the building design and architecture industry, students will gain the expertise that employers are looking for.
Learn the essential project management skills needed to research construction materials and methods, and consult and deliver small-scale building design solutions in the residential, industrial and commercial building sectors.
