Certificate IV in Information Technology (Gaming Development) focused on Game Programming builds students' skills so they'll be job-ready and competent in a wide range of information and communications technology (ICT) roles, and more specifically animation and game design roles in this dynamic and evolving industry.
In this exciting course, students will learn a wide range of skills and the latest techniques to produce and write narrative scripts for interactive games, identify and apply game design and game play principles, create and develop 3D models and digital animations.
Students will also learn broad IT skills like how to identify and resolve client ICT problems, contribute to cyber security risk management, apply introductory programming techniques and identify and evaluate emerging technologies and practices.
TAFE NSW's Diploma of Information Technology (Game Programming) builds students' game development skills so they can become a games programmer and software engineer. Make complex 3D games for mobile devices, work in a team to design game levels and environments and learn to lead a team.
