TAFE NSW's Diploma of Community Services builds on students' core competency, develops their specialized skills and equips them for a rewarding career in the community services sector.

Learn to develop and implement service programs and trauma-informed care, analyze the impact of sociological factors on clients, and facilitate workplace debriefing and support processes. Depending on the elective subjects students choose, they may also learn to coordinate complex case requirements, assess co-existing needs, and identify and respond to children and young people at risk.

This course provides students with job-ready skills and advanced knowledge to work effectively as a caseworker or manager, welfare worker, team leader or domestic violence officer in the community.
