Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sociology and Psychology (with a Year Abroad) (L302)

Studying a joint honors degree in Sociology and Psychology provides students with expert scientific training in the relationship between the mind, brain, and behavior, as well as the essential theoretical foundation to understand human behavior as social beings.

Students will delve into the psychological and neuro-scientific processes that drive activities such as thinking, reasoning, memory, and language. They will also explore the effects of brain injury and strategies to enhance health-related behavior.

Throughout their studies, students will learn to generate new knowledge and information using various qualitative and quantitative social research tools, ranging from large social surveys analyzed through statistics to in-depth interviews with individuals and small groups.

The course will equip students with excellent research, communication, critical analysis, and presentation skills, along with a high level of numeracy and ICT proficiency.
