About Master of Science - Computational Engineering with Industry
Swansea University Master of Science Computational Engineering with Industry course is only open to International students. Gain two years' experience in the UK and the opportunity to work in collaboration with industry on a real-life challenge.
This new MSc is an extension of Swansea's MSc Computational Engineering and includes a second year allowing students to undertake either an industry placement or an industry-focused project with an industrial partner.
Over the course, students will use mathematical modelling and computational methods to solve complex problems. They will learn techniques that play an increasingly instrumental role in industry and understand how methodology can be applied to fields such as medicine and the life sciences.
The students' studies will be based at the Zienkiewicz Centre for Computational Engineering, which has excellent computing facilities including a state-of-the-art multi-processor supercomputer, with virtual reality facilities and high-speed networking.
