Bachelor of Fine Arts - Studio Arts - Photography Emphasis

This professional Bachelor of Fine Arts degree has an integrated approach to fine art practice and professional skills combining both the processes of the past with the technology of the future. Southern Utah University prepares the photographers of tomorrow to enter a wide range of photographic specialties from gallery art to commercial photography as well as hybrids of photography and design. Students will gain experience in studio lighting, large format photography, alternative photographic processes, digital capture and printing, and traditional black and white techniques. With close proximity to some of the greatest national parks in America, and access to dedicated photographic equipment and facilities, Southern Utah University students are able to explore their creativity as well as the inspiring natural beauty of the region.
