Professional Certificate - Product Management (Non-Credit)

In this unique program, students will develop in-demand skills used by practitioners in Product Management, Product Marketing and Customer Success Management roles. The program is designed to empower early to mid-career professionals to upskill or discover new career opportunities in an increasingly digital world. Previous technical or marketing experience is not required but a curious mindset and willingness to apply yourself fully during this project-based program is essential for an effective learning experience. 

In this program, students will focus on executing the product life cycle, from conception to retirement. They will acquire skills in product discovery, vision and  strategy, analytics, and develop the leadership to build, launch and maintain innovative products and customer bases. The program prepares you to conduct user and market research to identify problems, create a hypothesis and ideate solutions. Students will also explore prototyping techniques to test a product’s viability, value, feasibility and usability, and discuss the morality of ideas. They will dive into Product Marketing concepts and tools to create a go-to-market strategy launch plan for your product and learn to proactively retain customers through Customer Success Management by creating a customer retention plan.

The Professional Certificate credential complies with Provincial and Federal Government policies and requirements, as well as SAIT policies, enabling successful International students to qualify for a Study Permit, work part-time while studying and Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
