Program Description
In Sheridan College Honours BBA (Finance) program, students will gain the fundamental business finance skills they need to help organizations succeed. Students in this program will learn global financial strategies such as how to access cash at affordable rates, assess risk and protect investments from fluctuating currencies. Students will also prepare for an international and diverse workforce through group work with their classmates.
The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs feature an innovative experiential learning model that prepares students for the workplace. Rather than being asked to memorize content in a large lecture hall, students will get to know their professors and peers through interaction and collaboration. Students will actively apply their knowledge and solve business problems that simulate the real world.
Students can complement their finance degree with a unique certificate that demonstrates their ability to think creatively. In addition to core BBA courses, students will have the opportunity to take different breadth electives that will enable them to obtain a Sheridan Board Undergraduate Certificate in Creativity and Creative Problem Solving. Courses in the certificate include:
- Creative Leadership and Problem Solving
- Applications of Creativity and Innovation
- Group Dynamics and Creative Problem Solving Facilitation
- Introduction to Studies in Creativity
- Principles of Creative Problem Solving
- Composition and Rhetoric.
