Bundle Program - Post-Graduate Certificate - Information Resources Management & Post-Graduate Certificate - Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Program bundles are available exclusively to international applicants. These bundles, or program packages, combine one-year certificates to create a two-year term of study. This arrangement provides Saskatchewan Polytechnic international students with more options to obtain a post-graduate work permit. This option allows them to secure their seat and receive acceptance into both programs simultaneously. The bundle option is available only at the time of application.

Post-Graduate Certificate - Information Resources Management

The Information Resources Management post-graduate certificate is an eight-month program that provides a unique opportunity for professionals with an existing bachelor’s degree who want to advance their careers using information, data, technology, and tools to improve efficiency and support companies in achieving their goals. The program prepares participants to assume information and management roles in Saskatchewan and Canadian public and private enterprises.

This program emphasizes managing data throughout its lifecycle to ensure it remains secure, accessible, and valuable for business decision-making. Students will develop skills and knowledge in:

Participants are not required to have a technical background (e.g., computing or engineering) to be successful in this program.

Post-Graduate Certificate - Logistics and Supply Chain Management

For individuals looking for ways to leverage their current post-secondary degree to advance their careers, Saskatchewan Polytechnic offers an updated Logistics and Supply Chain Management post-graduate certificate (LSCM).

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management post-graduate certificate is an 8-month program that provides hands-on education in the field of logistics and supply chain management. The program prepares students with an existing bachelor's degree to understand and work in the logistics and supply chain management industry within Saskatchewan and Canadian public and private enterprises.

This post-graduate certificate equips students to manage and coordinate all logistical functions in an enterprise, ranging from acquisitions to receiving and handling, through internal allocation of resources to operations units, and the handling and delivery of output. The program includes course topics such as acquisitions and purchasing, inventory control, storage and handling, just-in-time manufacturing, logistics planning, shipping and delivery management, transportation, quality control, resource estimation and allocation, budgeting, strategic management, leadership, and business communications.

Students will develop skills and knowledge in procurement, negotiations, leadership, logistics, risk management, and information systems. They will apply theory to real-world scenarios in business situations, utilizing case studies, group projects, role-playing exercises, and advanced simulation platforms. Additionally, students will benefit from extensive industry partnerships that allow them to participate in work-integrated learning opportunities.
