2-Term Advanced Pathway - International Year One - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts - Mathematics:
International Year One allows students to take credited SF State preparation courses alongside additional academic and English language instruction. The vast range of credit courses on offer allows first-year students to both discover new fields and further explore already strong subjects. Once International Year One is completed, students proceed directly to their second year of degree study at SF State.
Bachelor of Arts - Mathematics:
The Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics can be earned by completing any one of three concentrations:
- Concentration in Mathematics for Advanced Study (48 units): prepares students for graduate study of mathematics.
- Concentration in Mathematics for Liberal Arts (42 units): intended for students planning non-technical careers.
- Concentration in Mathematics for Teaching (45 units): matches the state-approved subject matter program for the single-subject credential in mathematics.
