The supply chain management profession addresses the critical link between demand creation and fulfillment. Supply chain management professionals participate in fundamental decisions associated with current and future business success, product design, sourcing, transportation, storage, e-commerce and delivery of final goods to the customers. Information technology is vital in making transactions efficient (cost-saving) and effective (meeting customers’ needs). Students in Saint Louis University's Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program will also gain exposure to the design, implementation and management of efficient ways to integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses and stores.
